I think a vital part of creativity is affected by the space in which we live in. I find that simplifying my surroundings actually keeps my mind clear and open for new ideas. Where in the past I used to cover the walls and desktops of my office with nick nacks, posters, and books. I now try to keep it sterile and clean with just a few items of inspiration.
