Creative Surfing – Glaciers, Rivers, and Pulleys
For those of you who aren’t aware. Summer is the flatest time of the year in south florida. Yeah, Yeah, “but there are no waves in Florida.” There are waves a lot in South Florida people just don’t go to the beach enough to notice. Anyways, back to my rambling. I have attached a few creative ways of surfing that I’m sure most of you have never seen. First is Glacier Surfing. I can’t figure out if this is the stupid thing I’ve ever seen or just plain amazing. The second is River Surfing. I can guarantee you that this is way harder then it looks. The third is Grinch Surfing
. Incase you aren’t aware a Grinch is a high speed winch that pulls the rider towards the waves fast. It is usually placed on a jetty so that the rider can be pulled farther out in the water towards the breaking waves. Enjoy
