Franklin North Carolina – 4th of July Parade

Part two of our North Carolina trip takes us to the annual 4th of July Parade. Some of the family wasn’t really into going to the parade, but my mother as well as myself were adamant about going. There is something I just love about small towns. I love how different the lifestyle is. You could tell this parade was a big deal and everyone came out to show tribute. I think I was the only person on the street not wearing red, white or blue. Anyways. These people love there dogs. There were more dogs in this parade then people or cars. They actually have a contest for the dogs. With categories like most patriotic. Gotta love it. There was even a stunt show with dirt bikers. Good Times. Enjoy
