Costa Rica Day 2
Day 2 found us with really good waves. We surfed the majority of the day and headed back to Bula Bula to relax. About 4:30 Paul convinced Jimmy and myself to head down for an evening session at the what I dare call a beach break out front. With failure to head the warning of a local bartender Jesse to not surf this place due to shallow rocks and stingrays we I paddled out succomming to pier pressure. After 30 minutes of surfing garbage i decided to go in. Kicking out of a wave and planting my foot down. I got quite the “shock”. A stingray barb in the foot. This is not enjoyable and the pain went away after about 2 hours.

See, that’s why I tell Emma to NEVER go in the water. Stringrays… Sharks… Jellyfish… The poisonous octopus… The list goes on and on and on. Will be glad when you get home. Stay safe.
