The northern part of Costa Rica is awesome. Where it may not be as lush as down south it definitely has its perks. The temperature at night gets to what feels like the mid 70’s and the days feel so much cooler than Florida’s heat. I’ve been taking the days pretty lazy. Costa Rican coffee and fresh breakfast every morning is a huge change for me from my glass of water and Fudge Graham Zone bar which provides me with nourishment daily at home. Yesterday we planned on taking a day off of surfing to go to a waterfall somewhere inland. Paul knew of a waterfall that he had been to previously so we decided to go there. When we asked the locals of this waterfall they replied. “Oh the water slide.” After a few chuckles I pulled out my laptop and googled “waterfalls Guanacaste Costa Rica”. Not much came back but a few Flickr references to pictures with short descriptions and no maps. With a bit more of googleing and some google satellite we could see an aerial few of the location and decided to go for it. Can you say Goonies? Turned out to be a gem of Costa Rica. The power of social networking and google is an awesome thing. Stay tuned tomorrow for some pics. Until then enjoy these pictures.
