If not here is the recap. Early morning engagement session in Hollywood Beach, drove to Orlando, dinner at Father-In-Laws farm, all followed by a sunset engagement session. Below are some of the shots from the sunset shoot. While we didn’t have a tremendous amount of time to shoot. We did have fun as always and get some gems. A few months ago I got an email from Sarah saying that she was coming down from Kentucky for Thanksgiving and were going to share the news of their recent engagement with the family. All the planets aligned which set up for a great morning for a shoot. I myself had never been to Crandon Park, and what a cool place it is. Beautiful extra wide and long pristine beach, an old zoo with monkey cages, and tons of beautiful birds around every nook and crany. To top it off a great couple to spend the morning with. I’m often booked by couples that live outside of South Florida so it can be tricky getting the time right for an engagement session. Sometimes clients even turn them down, but I’m am definitely one to insist. It’s just a great time for us to get to know each other and for me to prod and poke to get just the right expressions out of my clients. I would like to thank Stephanie and Dave for getting up at the crack of dawn on Thanksgiving day none the less for us to bond. Following this session I jetted off with the family to Orlando to enjoy thanksgiving with my wife’s awesome side of the family. After a delicious feast of food provided by Dr. Diaz my father-in-law. He was gracious enough to let one of me shoot my friends engagement session on his farm (stay tuned for that one). Needless to say I slept well that night. Enjoy

These two met in high school only to have circumstances detour their destiny. Almost 15 years later they were reunited by a chance meeting on a night out with friends. Well guys. Florida’s summer won’t seem to end so I’ve been trying to get my shoots done before it get’s 90 degrees out. These two are a great couple and I look forward to shooting their wedding next year. The best part of the shoot for me was when Marc re-inacted the proposal at the exact spot it happened. It was awesome. I could actually see the look on Allison’s face as if it had just happened for the first time. I’m a sap so of course I got goose bumps. Thanks for the great time guys. Enjoy.

Below are some pics from an awesome engagement shoot I had a few weeks back with Mary and Kellan. These two definitely have the connection and I think I could actually see electricity between them through the view finder. Like lighting bolts shooting from their eyes. The night before I shot a wedding in Miami Beach and rolled in about 1:30. An hour later after I had backed up all my images I was off to lala land only to wake back up at 5:45 to head off to the sunrise photo shoot. In the end it was all worth it. Enjoy.

So a few months back I was on my way to Miami to shoot a wedding when I saw off the distance “awesomeness” in the form of a broken down crane. This crane had it all size, graffiti, desolate surroundings, and rust. Lots of rust. Anyways about a month later I scouted this crane out via Google Earth and a short reconnaissance mission where in fact I stepped in a mud hole and got my flip flops sucked right off my feet (I’ll miss you guys). But all in the name of photography. So after I trecked only yards up the road and realized you could walk safely in to the location. I knew this was going to be a sweet future location. So when Barret and Collete said they’d be in town from Jacksonville. The date was on. In lieu of this post I will have a contest for the first person who can correctly identify the location of this crane. The winner will receive a free session of their choice (Engagement, Family Portait or Baby/Kid Session). Enjoy and Good Luck

I know its been a while but man are blogs hard to keep updated when you are busy. I have tons of great stuff to share with you. It’s just finding the time to share. I swear I will be a better blogger (as if you haven’t heard me say that before). Well enough about me.
About a month back I had the super enjoyable awesomeness of a time with Suzanne and Aaron shooting there engagement photos. Talk about chemistry. This couple is awesome. I love when you get couples that just care about each so much you can see it when they look at each other. Well I hope you enjoy the shots. Many more shoots to come including Suzanne and Aaron’s awesome wedding. You might also notice through out the pictures the green bands on there wrists. Aaron was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer about a year ago but has made a full recovery. What a blessing. to learn more about cancer awareness or to make a donation. Cheers.
